One notable event in the Nigerian film industry is the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), held annually in Calabar. Founded in 2010, AFRIFF showcases African films, promotes filmmakers, and encourages the growth of the film industry on the continent. Working alongside PACT and Equity to safeguard all under 18’s onset no Artistes with convictions contained within the Sexual Offences Act 2003 or any serious unspent convictions will be provided.
